Can I carry on with shoemaking after attending Shoe School?
Yes you can! You will be given a step-by step instructional shoemaking guide during your workshop. This will include a tools and materials breakdown, suppliers guide and shoemaking resource links.

Is this workshop suitable for beginners?
Yes. I have designed the workshop content for all levels of experience. If you have never sewn before I will show you how to use the industrial sewing machine, or if you'd prefer to work at a slower pace you can use the hand-operated Singer sewing machines. Some experienced sewers even prefer to use them – not only are they pretty, they're also relaxing to use

Can I make non-leather shoes?
Yes. You can make shoes from fabric with rubber soling. If you're wanting to make vegan shoes I can't give you a guarantee that all materials used to make your shoes will be vegan, but I will do my best to source material information where possible!
